The Staff Development Centre of the University of Kelaniya announces the commencement of a specialized training program titled "Research Workshop on Publishing Extended Abstracts/Concept Research Papers" for executive officers. Starting on the 19th of September 2024, the program will consist of five comprehensive workshops followed by a dedicated follow-up session to ensure participants can apply their newly acquired skills effectively.

“The  Rover Scout Program”, initiated by the Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the University of Kelaniya, was held on the 25th of September 2024 at the CGU Auditorium. The CGU has taken a significant step in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Scout Association to initiate the formation of the first-ever Rover Crew at the University of Kelaniya.

The official launching of the book entitled “Rāva Pratibhā 2023”, organized by the Art Council of the University of Kelaniya, was held in view of the National Literacy Month, on the 12th of September 2024, from 02.30 p.m. onwards, at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Kelaniya. The event was headed by Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-chancellor of the University of Kelaniya.
