Three-Day Exhibition on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence held at the University of Kelaniya – Women’s History of Sex Workers

The Centre for Gender Studies (CGSUK), University of Kelaniya, in collaboration with the International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES) and the United Nations Development Programmer (UNDP) Sri Lanka, successfully conducted a three-day exhibition on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) from 12th to 14th January 2026 at the Art Gallery, Faculty of Humanities, University of Kelaniya.

A Team from Tallinn University, Estonia, on Erasmus+ staff mobility, meets the Vice-Chancellor

Prof. Merylin Meristo, Prof. Maris Saagpakk, and Ms. Siiri Soidro from the School of Humanities, University of Tallinn, Estonia completed their Staff Mobility for Teaching and Training, within the framework of Erasmus+ Mobility Agreements, from 12^th January to 14^th January 2026 at University of Kelaniya.

“Brain into Business” – NEDA Grant Awards 2025

The “Brain into Business” Grant Awards Ceremony 2025, organized by the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA), was held on 19 December 2025 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) – Ruby Hall. Through a highly competitive and rigorous evaluation process, six outstanding students from the University of Kelaniya were selected as grant recipients.
