The Culmination of the Engaging a New Generation for Accessible Governance and Elections (ENGAGE) Cohort 2024 was held on Tuesday, 12th March 2024 at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo, along with the launch of Sri Lanka’s Electoral Sign Language Lexicon.
Senior Professor Nilanthi De Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya hosted a meeting of the university’s top researchers to discuss the future trajectory of research and innovation at the University of Kelaniya on the 4th of March 2024. The discussion focused on strategic planning to enhance the quality of research at the university. The session was attended by the Registrar, Deans, and other university officials.
In a bid to equip participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to harness the vast potential of online income generation, the Central Business Incubator at the University of Kelaniya recently organized an insightful event titled “Internet Income Generator”. The inauguration of the event was held at the Staff Development Centre(SDC) of the University of Kelaniya.
Certificate Course on Engaging a New Generation for Accessible Governance and Elections (ENGAGE), a political leadership extracurricular course for students with disabilities, was conducted by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and USAID in collaboration with the Inclusivity Centre, Faculty of Humanities from 22.01.2024 to 06.02.2024 at the Inclusivity Centre.
