The Career Fair 2026 team officially received their letters of appointment from Senior Professor Dilkushi Wettewe, Director of the Career Guidance Unit (CGU), University of Kelaniya, on September 08, 2025, at the CGU Auditorium.
A One-Day Workshop, conducted as part of the ongoing “Young Journalist” training workshop series, organized by the Communication and Media Unit, University of Kelaniya, was successfully held on September 2, 2025, at the “Mee Amba Sewana” premises, University of Kelaniya. The workshop was conducted under the theme “Towards a Responsible and Ethical Media Culture.”
The dream of studying overseas moved a step closer to reality for 21 exceptional undergraduate and graduate students of the University of Kelaniya. The students were formally presented with valuable scholarships on the 29th of August 2025, to continue their studies in China and immerse themselves in Chinese language and culture. The university community came together in celebration honoring these promising individuals who are now set to become global connectors and cultural pathfinders.
