The 2nd session of joint survey, sport exchange program conducted by University of Kelaniya in collaboration with four Japanese Universities was held on 30th July 2019 at the university premises.
The 109th General Convocation of the University of Kelaniya was held on the 27th of August 2019 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).
The new indoor stadium of the University of Kelaniya was declared open by the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe on the 22nd of August 2019.
